Ali express 1800watt boost converter setting volts and amps

I connected it to a 12-volt 24-amp battery and started a 24-volt 250-watt bicycle engine. While the engine was drawing 8-9 amps, the booster was drawing more than twice as much from the battery. While checking why the engine had stopped, I saw that the cables connected to the battery were burnt. The umbrella cover I had put on the battery started to burn without flame. If it had continued a little longer, I would have gotten off the bike with the seat part of my pants burnt. I thought the cables were thin, so I used a thick cable and put a 20-amp glass fuse in one of the cables coming from the battery. It burned the 20-amp fuse immediately. I connected the cable and continued. This time, the cables coming from the battery to the booster held up and heated up a little, but the battery terminals were not touched by hand. I did not insist and came home so that the battery would not cause any trouble to me, or rather the part of the bike where I was sitting, due to the heat. Since my dream of running the bike with a single battery was ruined, I immediately removed the 1800-watt booster. This is my experience. It's up to you.

Did exactly what you were saying you wanted to do. I installed it in my van to charge my lifepo4 12 volt battery. Works great but can only achieve 18 amp at 14.6 volts out. Idk how to increase the amps. Am thinking the alternator cant do more, idk. My fan works great on mine also.

bro if you wan a challenge try outting 4 in parallel, so are all putting out equal power. i pulled it off with the 1200 one, then 3 of them died

just a small comment, if you set the low voltage to 13.5V or 14V the buck will turn off if the engine isnt running, I dont know what the standby current is so dont know if you can connect it direct to the battery without a relay

Hi can these step ups ruin the lithium cells or decrease the life of the battery pack or is all this false? I know that by increasing the voltage the battery discharges earlier this seems obvious but I don't know if it decreases the total life of the battery you know lithium batteries have about 1000 cycles which should last 2/3 years but with the step up I don't know if it will die to earlier ? thanks vrey much
