In this video we take a look at the Ledge K board. This is an awesome 32 Bit board from Lerdge 3d that packs a ton of features. Since Lerdge makes their own hardware and firmware it allows for a very easy install and awesome user experience. In this video we go over what the Lerdge K board offers as well as what my experience was installing this into my 3d printer.

Have you had the time to do the set up for the wifi and the Bltouch on the lerge board?

You have a pretty large number of open source boards...about 3 years ago i switched to duet wifi boards for my printers and never look back...but i prefer marlin boards than lerdge closed source one...though skr boards make a few pretty awsome boards...and the lpc series of boards can now have reprap firmware...also the skr pro and skr gtr board now support reprap firmware...and also cheaper than lerdge k board!

Will this board work with the Alfawise U10?

I get a ton of ringing with this printer & it will only print about 220mm high, then home & turn off the nozzle & bed, it will not print the full capacity. So I was thinking a new board work fix this problem???

Thanks

glad i stumbled into this video as i just purchased this board to frankenstein my printer....

even tho it has 6 channels for drivers...

if i only have x, y, z (double in my case) and the e0.... the 2 channels that are "open/not used" do the drivers need to be installed even if they are not going to be used?

Is this board good enough to use on Delta printers printing up to 300 mm/s?🤔

Nice video. What printer are you using? I want to buy my first printer and I like Lerdge's idea of having the modules to buy. I like the simplicity of configuration too. I'm a programmer, I have no problem with lines of code, but I just don't want to waste time setting things up, I want simplicity.
but I'm afraid, I don't see many people talking well about this board.

I can't imagine used a closed printer firmware, it just sounds nuts in concept.

I hate my touch screen . Is there an option with this board? You said they are issuing firmware updates frequently. How is the firmware updated?

Since the firmware is closed, you need to do your own testing for thermal runaway, and other failure states. I can't see a justification for a closed source firmware now that RRF is available for very inexpensive boards. I wouldn't want to sit there and punch in all printer parameters into a tiny LCD display. You've added WiFi to a Chinese closed source piece of electronics, now you gotta think if this thing is calling home or not.
