Interesting review. The main key for me between the 2 was the look from address. I don't know if the Taylor Made has a optical illusion going on but the head looks more shallow. The depth of the face of the Callaway looks to have more room for error on mishits high and low on the face. The clubs performed very similar for me on equivalent strikes. It looks like the toe hit cost the Taylor Made big time on this comparison. I agree with your assessment on sound as the Callaway is definitely quieter. I also noticed the weight track on the M1 makes a different "whoosh" sound during practice swings. I make not be relevant but it gives me the impression the club is less aerodynamic. I wish there was a reviewer out there that presented detailed club dimensions. It would also be interesting to see a comparison on ballspeed/spin/launch over different areas of the face. This would actually present the area of the face the achieves certain smash factors or incurs certain spin ratios. May need a swing robot to accomplish all the data and eliminate all the human error that would factor in.

Good review for the 250-175 yard. crowd. Your recording sound quality could be a bit better. I like your commentary, it's quick and to the point. Nice job and best of luck!

I can relate to this video as my swing speed is right in this range. I was generating similar ball speeds when I tested Epic. The quality of the strike made a big difference. The regular Epic for me was spinning low 2000s up to 3000, so I am going to go subzero.

Nice to see a review at a club head speed the same at mine.👍

Very interesting to see a 'normal' swing speed test rather than all the 320-yard bombers! But wouldn't the increase in ball speed be the result of better strike, not jailbreak technology?!

Can you review sub zero against ping g driver ? I am a similar clubspeed to you and I notice the backspin on ping to be in 2800 to 3500 range . Want to see your numbers

Kinda backs up what my Pro and his Fitting guys are seeing, with the Callaway pipping the TM in most Fittings that they do at their facility.

That's a nice consistency in club head speed, I can swing 100 but I'm 92-97 sometimes and 102-105 on good swings best 110. But it's it changed each swing idk how you do it haha

Dan i currently have the 2016 M1 and i want to switch to the SubZero but I'm not sure if it will be too low spinning is that a problem?

I love a club shootout but you really can't get a property sample from 3 shots

But you seemed to hit straighter with the TM

Strike will over ride all of that. Looking at the offline numbers, spine, face angles applied at impact, etc. those numbers would all be very different, even at 100 mph SS.
