Forney Auto-darkening welding helmet. Advantage series Patriot model 55708. Quick review and demo of the autodarkening feature.

I'm not a pro welder. I've taken classes; I have wire feed, mig welders and oxy acetylene tanks. I'm not a beginner but no pro. I've never had an auto darkening welding helmet before. My last helmet head band broke and just held it for over a year till I broke the lens. With no helmet the last 3 months I needed a new one to do a few little projects. Searching around I found this Forney Helmet and the graphics drew me right to it. Love the Patriotic theme. After a few tests with the helmet I couldn't be happier. No more nodding, the auto darkening lens is fabulous. I don’t have to lift the helmet or set my hands and welding tip then nod dropping the helmet. Just get set and weld. Why did I wait so long?
