You know Dunkin decided to just give him an average drink, since they know they're competing, Starbucks actually did what was asked. Dont mention the challenge, if they ask why you want the least popular drink just tell them you were wanting something interesting

When I worked on a coffee shop when I was younger I always had my weird combinations for almost everything in the menu as the owner let the baristas test stuff so we could expand our menu. We had some pretty tasty stuff as seasonal items both for food and drinks thanks to that.

I once had the idea of creating a cold drink with rose water. Everyone thought it would taste bad but oh man the convination with green tea and pomegranate (among other things) was a banger, I felt so happy when everyone liked it and it was our summer hot sale, heck even the owner let me name it which I called it "Rose of the garden".

I really miss that coffee shop, it was a really wholesome place to work but sadly the owner passed away and the kids who inherited the place sold it instead of continuing with the shop, I am so happy she felt so happy that she even did a little dance when the allegedly least popular item in the menu was liked omby someone else than her. It brought me good memories!

I was a barista for a year and a half and let me tell you that only one person out of our whole staff liked the pineapple refresher and when our regulars would ask if it’s good I told them that only one person liked it. lol

That refresher is really good aside from the pineapple chunks, but the refreshers have frozen variants that don’t contain the chunks and they are great (personally I like the one with dragonfruit the best)

I only do the dragon drink from Starbucks with less ice and freeze dried dragon fruit the staff know what I love and always have it before I come.

an almond milk iced coffee definitely wasnt the least popular drink, at least at the location I worked at. anything with Skim was less popular if we're considering milk types as different beverages, but overall it definitely was the Frozen Matcha Latte that was least popular.

I work at Dunkin and I have NO clue as to what the least popular drink would be. Customers can ask for whatever they want lol. Even plain black coffees are ordered at least 20 times during my shift.

As someone who works in a non-franchised Starbucks. I can confirm. The pineapple passionfruit refresher is easily the least popular drink. We don't even sell enough of it to justify having it on the menu. We dump most of it down the drain when it expires because it just doesn't sell.
