Wow they open up really big don't they. Never would have thought a full booth could fit in a small box like that.

A bridge of bookshops is the quite possibly the most appealing attraction to Paris I've ever seen or heard of.

I saw these while I was in Paris. I honestly thought it was just a touristy thing, never realized there was so much history behind them!

Unfortunately, I’m in poor health probably will never get to leave my home country but I hope to one day get to peruse one of these and purchase a few books and prints

Those bouquinistes box have just been removed from Paris major to make place for the Olympics !! This major has once more destroyed a key element of the city!

As a big comic book nerd, those stalls of antique magazines made my mouth water...

I remember these from the 80's! I first came upon them opened, and as a rather large book market. Imagine my surprise when I returned to my flat as most were closed as wee boxes & others were being slowly closed! Amazing jaggery poker in action!

Fun fact, this still exist in argentina, and you can find a lot of them near parks or in the middle of the street

We have lots of these stands in my country, I thought they were more common 🤔 they usually sell magazines, comics, manga, albums, and some even sell cassettes/CDs or keychains. Also, if you bring the seller old/popular books or comic issues in good condition, sometimes they'll exchange them for some of the stuff they're selling.

tbh I wish they kept more bridges with buildings on them, like the one in Florence. They have more character.

My house is literally 50 meters away from the Pont Neuf 😂 I’m the only one who jogs along the Seine in Winter🤣🤣🤣

The 1986 Manhunter(Red Dragon) poster of the unused shots of Tom Noonan's Francis Dolarhyde caught my eye right away.
