Here in Brazil, the base edition is 1/4 of the minimum Salary. The ultimate edition is like half the minimum Salary. These prices are skyrocketing up, while the games quality goes way down

Btw they will use Denuvo to protect the game and avoid piracy so the retail version will run at arounnd 60 fps where a pirated release will run the game at max performance

Don't pirate this game. Don't play it. Don't play any other new Star Wars games. Don't buy any more Ubisoft games. Let the franchise, publisher, and studios die. Spend your time and money on better things made by people who respect you. Learn to code and make better games yourself.

What`s even worse are lack of regional pricing for some countries, for example Balkan countries are literally paying the same prices as Germany, when minimum wage over here is around 300 euros and in Germany its around 1500 euros.
Modern gaming is ruined, as you can see by these editions, few extra outfits and 2-3 extra missions are priced the same as the whole Standard game, like wtf?

Ubisoft has been doing this type of shenanigans for a while now with their new games. For example you should check out their last Watch Dogs Game and Far Cry 6 game for pricing in multiple versions.

Them there's the fact them and other developers offer most times an art book / soundtrack as a deluxe edition bonus now with not much else. While most games use to have these as preorder perks even worse these artbooms and soundtracks usually loop back to signing up for a developer's or publisher's exclusive store/site to use the codes or download the digital artbooks/soundtracks.

The fact that they already have the dlc named, means it is most likely content cut from the game, and should not be dlc. People got really pissed at BioWare for doing this with Mass Effect.

that's not really it tho, keep in mind that the price stays the same for EVERY country, even people who's NORMAL monthly pay is WAY less then others., ie. country 1 normal salary 2k a month. game costs 60. country 2 normal salary 1k a month, game still costs 60. some just can't afford multiple "triple A" games

In fact I have a long list of older games that I want to play anyway. Like I got OG content to play (and re-play) for like 3y :)) so... rarely that I buy something new anyway and if it's good only (such as Elden Ring)
