I see that TS-2.2 is listed as discontinued on the park tool page. Aren't they going to make that chrome model?

How come the chrome 2.2 has now been discontinued? Surely a chrome finish is harder wearing than a powder-coat..especially when it comes to potential corrosion (rust?) I would imagine that the paint will wear off the uprights where the axle sits very quickly- and also where the caliper arm knob turns on the metal plate- surely both of these places will then become susceptible to corrosion. Did the original chrome finish have this issue or rust in these places or not?

When working mostly on road bikes, do you recommend this stand or the TS-4?
I read something about the TS-4 having a little bit of trouble with clamping the front wheels tight enough.
