Police: Teens used stolen Kias to break into Obetz store, steal guns

According to an Obetz police report, it was around 4:30 in the morning last Monday when police were called after cars rammed a back door at Vance Outdoors.

These monsters that are doing this have never been taught right from wrong and it's just downright sickening the parents should be ashamed of themselves to raise kids to get out and steal like this! What happened to teaching kids respect not to steal or lie and you get a job and earn money to buy things that you want absolutely disgusting people!!!!

The reason is, on the US models with the regular keyed ignition, our Kia's and Hyundai's DO NOT have immobilizers with a chipped key. Apparently, Kia's and Hyundai's built for the Canadian market do get the immobilizer with a regular keyed ignition. I just find this very odd that Kia and Hyundai would cheapen out on that since immobilizer systems have been in place on some cars for decades. I found all of this out when talking to a very reputable locksmith about getting a regular key (without the keyless entry fob) cut for my 2017 Sorento. So all the thief has to do is break out the ignition lock cylinder and start the car.

I just drove by throtons on alum creek at 12:10 and the same 2 SUVs have been parked facing the road backed up to the store for like 2 hours now. Not cop cars, just ghetto looking SUVs, but no chips cops in sight

Pretty sure some more drove by sheets on Hamilton last night and fired some rounds, my neighbor just found a bullet hole in his grill last night when his radiator started leaking. 300k miles 20 years old, looked brand new and this is the first thing that's happened to it. He's over 80 and lives alone. And they're letting this shit fly. Speeding up and down alum creek 24/7. Can't even pave it right there by Williams might as well be off road. Obetz is going down hill now too.
