Ah, Griff Rhys Jones. He might have the most Welsh name you've ever heard, but he is the least Welsh person you've ever heard.

Griff Rhys Jones described him and Mel Smith as Laurel and Hardy?! Are you kidding? Laurel and Hardy were comic geniuses. He and Mel Smith were as funny as a fire in an Orphanage!!

The alleged Welsh word 'Pysgodyn Wibli Wobli' ( wibbly wobbly fish for Jelly fish) is a myth as is ' popty ping' ( microwave) Both have been created as a joke - then popularised by the comedian Michael McIntyre and consequently taken as gospel by many English people.
The actual name for a jelly fish in Welsh is *Slefran* - pronounced "Slevr-ann"
The Welsh word for microwave is *meicrodon* - pronounced "May- croh -donn"
*Ambiwlans* is the Welsh phonetic spelling of Ambulance - which isn't actually an English word - but Latin.

The slang Welsh word for Marijuana however is correct
*Mwg drwg* - pronounced "Moog droog"
translates literally as "naughty smoke" ....

At least he didn't ask him to say Llanfair... (translated by voice rec as "some biotic breath when guess go get her weird and robbers fantasy logo Google") 😂

Griff Rhys Jones is as funny as rabies in a guide dogs' home. We need a vow from him that he will emigrate whether Labour win the election or not.
