Humans are pretty vile and I like the dogs and horses better and prefer them to be safe because humans are asking them to perform and they don't get much say. As for foxes, most "sporting" hunts do not use live foxes anymore. Those that do suck and should stop since the foxes are just trying to live. If a human gets messed up while engaging in a live hunt, I won't shed a tear.

Funny to see an American supporting a redcoat. I grew up in the sticks and have had hunts just barrel across my parents land without permission and on one occasion the dogs killed a neighbours cat in their back fields. Glad it’s illegal but they still break the law on a regular basis and seem to feel they have the right to go and do whatever they want.
On the flip side, as much as I oppose fox hunting, some of the protesters are complete idiots who put themselves and animals in to harms way. Video evidence is what is needed to have any chance of a conviction of an illegal hunt.

Ftr, the horse had already jumped & visibly didn’t want to land on the person, it tried to move mid-air. The horse was also being controlled, it didn’t have much of a choice.

If someone’s going to do any type of protest, they need to know the dangers involved. From the sound of it, these people didn’t. They were also told the jump was happening, not getting out of the way or paying attention is on the protesters.
