Is There Salvation Outside the Catholic Church? - Living Divine Mercy Ep. 141 w/ Fr. Chris Alar, MIC

One of the questions people ask, and many are confused about, is, “Do I need the Catholic Church for salvation?” The answer is both simple and complex. Father Thaddaeus Lancton, MIC, reminds us that there is one way to salvation, and Jesus is that way; He keeps us on that narrow path that leads to Heaven through the one true Church. Then hear the inspiring story of Luke Kornet of the Boston Celtics, who after an injury realized it was time to make God and his Catholic faith a priority in his life.

Watch Fr. Chris Alar, MIC, and the Marian Fathers and Brothers from the National Shrine of The Divine Mercy on our weekly show, "Living Divine Mercy," airing on EWTN every Wednesday at 6:30 pm EST, with an encore presentation on Mondays at 9:00 am EST. Through teaching segments, Bible and St. Faustina Diary excerpts, as well as real-life examples of people who are living Divine Mercy in their lives, you will learn why Jesus said Divine Mercy is mankind's last hope of salvation! Ep. 141: Is There Salvation Outside the Catholic Church?

I wish that Father Chris would have a program all of the Church's that have branched off from the Catholic Church, i am a cradle Catholic & find solace in the Body & Blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist, the privilege to spend time with Jesus in the Adoration Chapel 🙏

I've been a cradle catholic but wasn't really practicing my faith then after 30+ years I found this channel and Fr Chris made me back into my Catholic faith. Had my confession, went to mass every week, praying the rosary and the chaplet and the novenas..Praying for all the Marian Fathers and I will help spread the word of God🙏❤️

Thank you Fr Chris and LDM Team for this wonderful episode. This is a message that I truly appreciate and we can never hear it enough, and we can never share it enough. As Fr Thaddeus explained, we are all brought to the Church by someone. Well, I struggle with patience to LOVINGLY spread the truth. This morning’s homily (my church) was about being a light, living in a Godly way and I try very hard to do so. It’s easy when I’m with the weekday mass crowd, but when I go out into the world, not so much. Does anyone else have people in their lives who tell you that “you’re too much with this religion”? “ Everybody doesn’t wanna hear about it! “. I’m not vocal there’s just some things I don’t engage in. Perhaps I am under attack by the evil one. God gave me a pretty thick skin; I know who I am, but please pray for me and thanks for reading this. I do not want my FIRE to go out. Offering prayers for our Marian family, and especially you Father Chris and your Alar family

A person's heart must be open to the truth. I was baptized Catholic and I don't feel like my heart was opened until 11 years ago.

Great episode, Fr Chris! Loved hearing from some of my Marian favorites - Fr Thaddeus, , Fr Don and Novice Austin. We Catholics are blessed not only with the truth, but also through the Eucharist which is the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Becoming Catholic is the best thing I have ever done, hands down. God bless you, Fr Chris; you and your family are in my prayers. 🙏🙏

Thank you, Fr. Chris, for this wonderful episode on Living Divine Mercy: Is There Salvation Outside The Catholic Church? Sincerely grateful to Fr. Thaddeus for the clarification and explanation on this important truth of our Catholic faith. Openness to accept the truth and living the fullness of life in Jesus is a great transformation for our salvation. Thanks to all who shared their life experiences from living the ordinary life to a deep spiritual conversion to Jesus and their love of the Catholic Church. No one can take them away from Him and the peace, love and joy only God can give. We must always express our heartfelt thanksgiving to God for giving us the Catholic Church and His teachings and remain faithful until we reach our eternal life.

I read in a Q and A to a priest in Sunday Visitor paper that if one does not know for sure if the Catholic church is the true church, and tries their best in another church, that they, too, can be saved.
