UK snow: Londoners seen running, skiing and having snowball fights

Londoners have been enjoying the winter weather and having fun in the snow.

The Met Office has warned that the snow is here to stay as freezing temperatures continue across the UK.

Across the country people woke up to heavy snowfall overnight, causing widespread travel chaos into Monday morning.

Oli Claydon, a spokesman for the Met Office, said: “It's very cold so the snow will stick around - we will see a continuation of the cold conditions.”
