Day 4 of the AMAZING MOTU Masterverse 2022 Reveals from Mattel- My Thoughts and Reactions

That He-Ro just isn't Up-To-Snuff. Including it in the Reveal Shot with more successful figures really draws attention to itself & by extension the sub-line it is from. There always seems to be context needed to explain why Revelation figures "work" - usually "it has an animated look" & "it's an an attempt at being show accurate". But on either side of him is an absolutely show accurate CGI He-Man and a New Eternia Battle Armor He-Man with no other corresponding media release: both well executed. Seems like if it does actually work, you'd be able to say "Cool figure" even if you didn't like or even see Revelation. Maybe it will look better by Official Release or In-Hand, but something kind of off about needing to view a toy at the right angle(especially for a company post, not a leak fwded around from somebody's phone).

For me She-Ra and Sun Man pop the most so I'll probably pick those 2 up. It's been a great week of reveals but does Mattel think we're just made of money? And are they at least a little concerned about flooding the market? Three toy lines at the same time is a lot. But if you can afford it, there are some cool figures to get excited about. Is there a particular figure/play set you're hoping for Friday? Eternia is the dream but I would be happy with a Snake Mountain. It's the last piece of my collection I'm missing.

i hope the armored he-man has two heads one without a beard and other hair sculpt, and hope he-ro comes with a power sword and better head sculpt that doesnt make him look so young and weak. and nah he-ro was my favorite character too but this design makes him look like a shitty character, might end up quiting this line unless they give him a more manly face like armored he-man without a beard. just saying they gave more care to sunman than he ro ...
