Welcome to episode one of my digital lego city.
This was made using Bricklink's Studio and rendered in Blender.

I constructed the buildings in Studio and then exported it as a LDraw file. After that, I used the ImportLDraw Blender plugin (it's free) to import the LDraw file into Blender.

ive been hunting for hyperdetailed and creative Lego city channels ever since discovering @Brickcrafts a few months ago. Money and space are such stiflers of these types of projects and you have really opened my eyes to the possibilities of digital tools/rendering. Super excited to see your progress!

I was pretty sure you were pulling our legs until I saw the repeating texture in the empty table. Absolutely phenomenal.

This is incredible! Details like the camera shake and focus, extra pieces in the background, and even a "physical" table contextualising the location of everything in the digital world as if it were physical makes it feel so real and is all so clever. Well done, and I can't wait to see more :)

Wow. I really had no idea this was level of realism possible. Amazing work 👍🏻👍🏻

I can't believe this. I was confused by the title, thinking "Wait, that's not digital???" Then you said you made it in Blender and I was like dang! Keep up the great work :D

This is the most beautiful build I've ever seen - a) you can't tell it's digital, and b) the way you've built it, the design is really original and inspirational. Can't wait for the next video!

You have a fantastic eye for design; your digital industrial city is looking really impressive. I own a large Lego parts store and would love the opportunity to bring your renderings to life so they can tour the USA convention circuit.

The first enhancement I can think of is incorporating different brown and grey shades of brick elements that are found in older Lego collections, (digital software often neglects these slight palette color differences, but they look awesome together when creating a weathered look). My next suggestion to help achieve the photorealistic environment is to use skin-toned minifigures from the newer sets. There's newly released minifigure accessories that really make factory workers and construction contractors shine. SUBSCRIBED & excited to see your city's expansion!

This is amazing! If you didn’t say it was digital it would be very hard to tell - I’m very intrigued to see how this project progresses :)

It took me a moment to realize all of this was rendered. I thought the initial buildings were built out in reality for inspiration/direction. This is phenomenal work. Very excited to see this series progress!

For the first few minutes, I was in doubt whether you were lying, and it was actually real, until you started fading in parts while the camera was moving (which would not be possible). This is amazing, I have never seen this level of realism in a LEGO render.

I hope this the first of many videos, and maybe even a new series or genre. I love hearing the methodology and mental planning as you're showing how it's accomplished. I would also be very interested in a work flow/how to/copy this effect style video, whether you tell us how you do it, or show us how to do it ourselves, I am absolutely interested in seeing more! I too feel so limited by my physical space, and Lego budget, but grew up building with Lego Digital Designer.

Would really be interested to see tutorials on how you did this with studio and then exporting it to blender. This is amazing stuff

This is insane.... Even knowing this is digital and looking for the tell, tell signs of repeated textures, clipped geometry, polygon edges my brain refuses to accept it. I can litterally see 4 identical mdf boards, with identical patterns but my brain is just like, nope this is genuine footage. Man this is some quality work, fucking gg

the fact you add the camera wobble and the tiny nudges of the bricks in the background when "constructing" a segment genuinly fools my brain into thinking this must be real, even though you state so many times that it isnt, its incredibly impressive

This is completely bonkers! I can just imagine this kind of real aspect look combined with the GTA engine to make an actual GTA game completely made up of LEGO!

The level of detail is insane! Not oversimplisitic or overcomplicated. The perfect amount of texture and colors.
