The House passed a stopgap funding bill to keep the government operating past Friday, sending it to the Senate where a group of Republicans threaten to delay action over objections to federal vaccine and testing mandates.

The 221-212 vote Thursday was largely along party lines as House GOP leaders urged their members to oppose the measure, which would fund U.S. government agencies at current levels through Feb. 18. That would give Democrats and Republicans time to finish negotiating full-year appropriations bills.

The temporary funding bill now faces a potential slowdown in the Senate that could trigger a brief weekend shutdown.

It's Time to stand up and fire everyone in this government for government forgot it works for we the people. We need term limits on every politician. We need to cut their pay to reflect what we the people make. Any politician who violate oath immediately is removed from office no exception. Global tyranny is here. It's time Republican states withdraw from being a part of our government. We no longer need any government for government leads to tyranny every single time.

So what will come of the veterans and essential employees who have worked through this pandemic but are now being told they will lose their jobs because somehow, it is easier to throw away their jobs than to fine people for having these large scale events, easier than testing easier than requiring masks be worn in all public spaces and fining those who don't and if course, the one way will actually get through this, keep everybody home and let this thing die out and test everyone before we allow people to come back out. This would probably only take a couple months. We've already spent that much time doing it wrong...
