Drawing on our heritage in making high-quality decks, the PLX-500 inherits the layout of the PLX-1000 professional turntable and produces warm, clear analogue sound. The high-torque deck is ideal for scratching and comes with everything you need including a cartridge, stylus and slipmat, and its USB out means you can easily make high-quality digital recordings of your vinyl collection in our free rekordbox software. You can use the PLX-500 and the rekordbox dvs Plus Pack to play and scratch digital files when you combine them with a compatible DJM mixer and the RB-VS1-K Control Vinyl. And you can choose between the black (PLX-500-K) and white (PLX-500-W) versions to match your set-up or the design of your home.

Just got one of these. Great turntable for the money. really heavy and well made, cartridge that comes with it out of the box is decent.

I completely get the whole digging being an amazing thing to do. When you find rare gem's others couldn't get coz they didn't dig deep enough, that feeling of finding that hidden gem is something else. These deck's look nice but I'm not sure if they have the torque I'm looking for. I scratch a lot. Just ordered Pioneer's XDJ XZ & am looking for add on's on each side. I love the fact I can choose whether to have one Turntable and one C.D.J. 2000/3000 or other options, I just want to expand so that I have four actual channels instead of using software. check the tone arm height adjuster lock .. it doesnt work whether the locking mechanism is in the unlock or lock position the height adjuster still moves

I've had it for two weeks already and it has an unpleasant smell of burnt or melted plastic, is this normal? everything works perfectly, it just bothers me that it stinks 😬

they should make a turntable that still has the things that the plx 1000 has, but you're able to put a flash drive in it and link up to four at a time, and then there is a small screen like the CDJ, you know what I mean?
