I just shot a feature film on my S5, which is my favorite camera ever, meaning the original S5, but I also have a GH5 that I found for $475 on eBay that I love almost equally as much. It’s an amazing creative tool for sure. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Love this! Seeing videos like this make me realize I don't need to spend more money on an upgrade when I haven't mastered this camera fully. A lot of videos on the GH5 say that they actually use the natural over Vlog. If i'm only doing some minor color grading, do you still think I should add Vlog?

I get pretty sad sometimes these days on YouTube realizing so much stuff is just about the latest and greatest. I totally understand that and I understand people wanting their gear to be the best it can possibly be, but the GH5 or mkii or GH5s are still incredible cameras and their price is ridiculous. I keep meaning to make a video on the GH5ii because honestly it’s 80% of the camera the GH6 is for even less money

Thanks to all the folks who are determined to have the latest and greatest, and who are too lazy (lol) to manual focus that the GH5 is so cheap, I was able to buy one off ebay for $430 USD. I also grabbed a GH4 for good measure. I absolutely don't need anything else. I have a GH2 that died at a wedding a few months back, that was an awesome camera hacked.

Thank you very much for this video. I am just upgrading from a 1080p camcorder to a Panasonic 4k mft camera. Can you tell me, do I need a speedbooster and EF lenses to make a short film, that can be shown on a big screen at a film festival, or can I just use decent glass with the mft mount, such as Sirui anamorphic 50mm f1.8. I did wonder if I could use the GH4 and export 4:2:2 into a Ninja V and record that footage on ssd and edit and grade in Resolve Studio, or would I be better going for the GH5 with the same set up? Thanks.

It's honestly crazy how good the GH5 still is. I have the GH6, but I definitely use the GH5 a ton still.

And as someone who shoots solely on anamorphic lenses, it's pretty much perfect for my particular workflow

Question do you think it will also work for my DJ I'm using led light what I have now I used my android camera that dies at some point or not enough space. I've been using a GH5 for a few years, I'm happy with it, but I'm used to handling video cameras and not still cameras, the photographic lenses, for making videos, although of good quality, are ridiculous, it always seems like you're holding a toy that breaks if you look at it in the wrong way
