If you own any of the following models listed below, this tutorial will show you how to replace the 2, 12 volt lead acid batteries found inside of the Literider battery pack. Each of the Literider Scooters and Power Wheelchairs have a removable battery pack that contains 2, 12 volt batteries. They typically last about 2 to 3 years. After 2 or 3 years, you will need to replace the batteries. Follow along with this video tutorial to see what's involved with the process. You will need a screw driver, a wrench and experience with battery wiring. Do not attempt this if you are not a technician or confident in your abilities to work with 24 volt battery systems that wired in series.

We followed your instructions to change batteries, after charging the new batteries the box was extremely hot as was the box on the charging cord. What could cause this? Did we do something wrong when putting the batteries in possibly? TIA
