Great news! I have some questions:

1. Will they be enhanced in any way to be able to handle potential issues they didn't have to deal with in the past. Eg introduced species like the cane toads?
2. Which animal are they going to use as the surrogate?
3. How many individuals are they planning to create, and female/male ratio
4. How are they going to guarantee genetic diversity for future generations?
5. Are they using 100% thylacine dna or is it being mixed with other closely related animals (like is being done with the woolly mammoth) to fill in gaps?
6. When is the first thylacine expected to be born based on project timelines?

In 2015 Cubs of the extinct cave lions were found frozen in the permafrost, could these animals ever be considered for a future project if the thylacine succeeds?

I know that in 2003 scientists were able to bring back the Pyrenean ibex for a few minutes before it died. How will they prevent something similar from happening with the thilozine?

Can you ask him about if it does come back will we be able to see one? I have been obsessed with the Thylacine ever since I could talk, and I would sell everything I have just for a chance to see it, hoping to get into biology for college so I can potentially study it, that would be a dream come true to me.
