ABOUT ME//
Hi I’m Becky! I’m a natural living expert, family herbalist, gardener and mum living on our sustainable farm in Northern Ireland.
I came across natural remedies, slow living, foraging, when I was diagnosed with hashimotos hypothyroidism and realised I needed to reconnect back to nature and learn how to nourish myself from within.
Since then I have studied herbalism and natural skincare.
This channel is all about sharing the joy of living a slow and natural life, with recipes, seasonal living guides and of course links to the Nature and Nourish Podcast as well as my regular gardening tips from BBC Radio 2!

This is exactly how I feel about our seasonal books too. They bring me so much joy! My kiddos are only 1 and 2 but I think my 2 year old is already beginning to grasp seasons and changes that come along with them thanks in large part to all the books we read. I always love coming to your channel for recommendations (currently scouting out good summer books 😄). Would love to see a video one day of books that you yourself enjoy!

Oh my gosh, I saw this video pop up and my heart actually fluttered! I so look forward to all of your new book recommendations each season. So clever to tie in Midsummer's Night Dream (one of my favourite plays along with The Merchant of Venice, not the most kid friendly I must say 😬) with the whole summertime theme. I already have the Katie and the Sunflowers book ready for our shelf change (along with many other summer books from past years, Bee, Little House by the Sea, Flower Fairies, Brambly Hedge, my first discoveries books), but I just couldn't resist the Ella Bella Ballerina Midsummer's Night Dream and Midsummer Tomte books - just too gorgeous! Ordered the seasonal books of Brambly Hedge; found them used, in good condition through amazon, hardcover too. I had found the complete works, but really wanted individual books. Cannot wait to read these!!

Love these videos every season. We have a few of these books as well. This morning I read Planting a Rainbow about 10 times. Lol. It’s interesting, we have the birdsong book too but there’s no off switch for the sounds. Figures 😅 my daughter has been loving a book about kids going to the farmers market with their mums list and a wagon to get what she needs. It’s really cute and we’re planning to go to several markets ourselves this summer. I can’t find the book online but when I was just looking for it I noticed quite a few cute market books for toddlers/preschool.
