Juhl Media presents Scott Santens in conversation with Ching Juhl, filmmaker. The live conversation will include interviewing Scott Santens, talking about Universal Basic Income, life story and current issues, on Wednesday, 9/22, 4 PM (ET).
The 3rd annual Basic Income March, sponsored by the Income Movement, will be held on Saturday, 9/25, 2021 globally. In New York City, people will gather at Amsterdam Ave. & W. 123rd Street. The march will begin at 1 PM (ET) and end at Johnny Hartman Plaza (Amsterdam Ave. & 143rd Street).
Scott Santens is a writer and full-time advocate of unconditional basic income (UBI). He has lived with a crowdfunded basic income since 2016 and has been researching and advocating for the idea around the world since 2013. He is currently Senior Advisor to Humanity Forward while also serving on the board of directors of the Gerald Huff Fund for Humanity and as the editor of Basic Income Today, a daily UBI news hub.
Santens's degree is in psychology from the University of Washington and his current home is in New Orleans, Louisiana where he has lived since 2009.

Ching Juhl, Chinese American, is a filmmaker, video journalist and musician. She is the founder of Juhl Media, and has published more than 700 videos on social media, with topics ranging from live interviews to current events, from music productions to political causes.
Educated at New York University and Indiana University, Juhl is also a music educator and concert violist. She played with Jade String Trio as well as backing up with Rod Stewart and Perry Como. She taught music at St. Joseph's College, and has been directing and teaching violin/viola at Music Studio Manhattan since 2001.
As a filmmaker, Juhl's feature film My Yang Gang Diary, won the Best Feature Film at Toronto Documentary Film Festival and International Film Festival Manhattan in 2021.
