💥PREREQUISITES💥 = the MOST important (& most ignored) concept in programming.
🔻
1.  Determine physical capacities (FRA).
2.  Program training within those capacities.
3.  Program additional work to expand capacities where desired/needed (FRC).

This makes me reconsider the movement I teach in yoga class for sure. Thank you for sharing. :)

Could a lack of Lumbar lordosis cause GH problems also?

People with limited shoulder flexion can still overhead press safely with no compensations just in the range they have. Why are you assuming that not locking elbows at the top is bad?

Hello Dr. Spina, big fan and I learnt a lot from your channel.
This video has an understated message about lumbosacral influence on shoulder movement. Is this extension supposed to be present in normal standing and gait? Can you explain the lumbosacral mechanics in relation to movement disorders(psoas, piriformis, transverse abs, neck lordosis, FowardHeadPosture), if you have time?
BTW, I am trying to fix my kyphosis, and it seems I have trouble with 1st/2nd ribs not moving properly. My lower ribs flare, without any movement to the upper. I would like to hear your take on this, seems related to shoulder and lumbosacral control. best regards
