DJ Kent ft Jethro Tait - The Words (Official Video)

This highly creative video from DJ Kent’s infectious track The Words comes form Johannesburg- South Africa and was directed by Rob Smith featuring a cast of exceptional child performers. (See cast list below)

The children are enacting a boring school Shakespeare performance. The play shows a hero who initially struggles to articulate his feelings to his loved one. When DJ Kent (acting as the sound engineer from behind the scenes, gives him the confidence and helps him find “the words" to do so with his music. The mood enlivens and the hero succeeds in his quest.
This is a beautiful, unique and creative interpretation of the track written about the inability of a man in articulating his feelings to his girlfriend and wanting her to know he loves her even-though he can't always express it.

- “I love you and I mean it, you can trust me when I say…. The Words”

He is definitely the God father of SA house music! Been a fan of King Kent since 1999. 20 years later in the game he is far more relevant. Thank you for such an educative and unique music video.

I was doing my grade 12 when I first heard this song. Today I'm doing my third year at varsity but I haven't forgotten the vibe that the song brought during my high school days
