Visiting the RILA MONASTERY, Bulgaria (UNESCO site) 🇧🇬

If you travel to Bulgaria and you are staying in Sofia, consider a day trip to the famous Rila Monastery, a 1000 years old complex that is also a UNESCO site. Actually you can also sleep in the monastery. That's what I have done, sleeping one night there so I could admire the Rila monastery in the evening when the tourist crowds are gone and the atmosphere is simply quiet and magic.
