(June 2021) | Fix Google Drive Download Quota Exceeded | Updated Method | Latest Method 2021

Hey there, In this brief video tutorial I'll be showing you how you can bypass and fix the google drive download quota exceeded error. It happens when a particular file reaches its download quota for the day.

This will show you a work around the "Sorry, you can't view or download this file at this time" and Google Quota Exceeded messages so you can download the file/s. This method even works when there is NO google drive icon present in the file's download screen. You will need a google drive account obviously.

FOLLOW THE METHOD BELOW!!!!
download the folder(inside which you placed the desired file), not the file, right-click on the folder you created to save the file in, you can download the whole folder at once but it will not let you download the file inside it. it's kinda stupid but yes download the main folder.

Here's a working method
- Add the file to your Drive "Starred" folder by pressing on the 3 dots on the upper right then press 'Add star"
- Navigate to your star folder in Drive
- Choose the file you want to download and another file you already have and click download -in order for this method to work you have to choose 2 files-

No need for all this lengthy process. At 1:12 click on the drive icon ( left side of download button...I think it may show add shortcut to drive) and create a folder in my drive and click on add shortcut. Then open the drive in the new tab, right click on the folder ( not on file ) in which you stored file and click on download button. It starts zipping. Large files normally takes hours to download. Have patience.

This actually worked. I was downloading Rift FN versions and for every version on drive that I wanted, it gave me the error. Now I have whatever I want to use. 👍

the folder wont download, it gets stuck at like 1/8 of the preparing download and just stops

But the problem is u are done when the file is larger around 5 gb something will take a long time until google zipps it..
