Never has a song encapsulated being addicted, depressed and self-isolated so well. I'm so glad Donovan made it through rehab and became the dude he is today, otherwise this song might have been just a forgotten ode written in the last months of a long-dead junkie. So much hidden talent dies without recognition because of opiates.

I got up and danced for joy when I saw a remaster of this song was on the album and it was absolutely spectacular. This was the first time I have ever been able to sing along with a song but also feel like I was hearing it for the very first time and it was a great experience.
