Today we're designing some modern nightstands in fusion 360. They are going to incorporate brass, lace wood and bird's eye maple for a really sleek modern look. follow me and here my thoughts on design and Fusion 360 as I answer your questions. Thanks for joining me guys that was lots of fun!

For your last question, normally when you have joint between your component they'll move together. the animation doesn't show it but once you click OK they'll all move (works for me !) Or you can create a new component from the root (top line in the browser) and then drag your component in the new component

Hey Jonathan, missed the stream but quick tip use trim (T) in your sketches to remove only the part of the line you want to get rid of..will save you time on redrawing the lines :-) Also you could trace a line in the middle of your "piece and mirror to the other side

Do you model your projects in nominal or actual dimensions? 3/4” plywood for example. Not actual 3/4” obviously.

ive struggled with learning Fusion 360. what are some good resources for learnin? i know if i get the skills... it will drastically improve both my business and creative woodworking
