In reference to it being complex, from what I recall it was originally a VR game meant to be played in co-op multiplayer, which each player manning a different station. It wasn't intended for a single player.

This game was made for VR and then converted over for normal play. It is great in VR

this reminds me of the borg encounter from star trek experience in Las Vegas

I'm kinda thinking the reason why the Borg failed to quickly detect the presence of the Enterprise was possibly due to solar radiation of the nearby star. My guess is they found you just by conducting a system-to-system wide search.

Yes, you're right! Sometimes is quite difficult to make simple tasks. From the beginning, I recommend playing the original story line. I also find that the ship shields and hull are very weak in this game.
Btw. I like the effect of the saucer separation due the explosion in ending.

Do voice commands still not work? It was amazing when they had voice commands and you could just tell the ai crew members to do stuff.
