You're so right about MS. It's really too bad, there's a lot of work that needs to be done with it, including the architecture under the covers. I'm not sure why Apple hasn't really given this the big development push it needs.

Sure, it will work with Logic no problem!

Good idea to use Logic for your setup btw, frankly I haven't found MS to be as reliable or flexible as Logic.

fyi, you might also want to check out Onstage by Fluqe, they enable the automation of Logic file open/close via MIDI. Just something for you to be aware of and throw in the back of your mind.

Sure, if it's keys, then just add another keyboard item to layout and you can map this set of keys to a completely separate MIDI controller. Let me know if this answers your question, if not, no problem - just post a little more info on what you want to do and we'll work it out :)

Hi I've tried this but it only works when Midi Keys windows is in front. Once I click back on MainStage it doesn't work. any way around this?

Is it possible to control the knobs on the screen control with MacBook keys? As in, have one key increase the knob, whilst having another key decrease the knob?

is there a way to automate this through logic? for patch changes, etc. it doesn't show up as a midi function in the media window. is it possible?
