Laboratory-Grown Diamond is the same as natural diamond. The reason LGDs are detectable is because they are type IIA (100% chemically pure diamond) and they exhibit consistent graining patterns on LW/SWUV microscopy. This is intuitive as even though they are both the same material, they grew in vastly different environments and for this reason they can be separated… but they are both the same thing (Diamond), don’t get confused.

I love it too. I have a glass stone much like yours. It was on a lid off a $25 jewelry box I bought from a TV store. I then had it set in a 14k white-gold ring that set me back $629 plus a 80 mile trip one-way to pick it up! It’s beautiful and I love it despite it’s just Glass. 🤣🤣🤣💎💍
