This is a huge part of why your channel is so great...the humanity that you inject into your stories. Keep up the great work!

Nick, ive been meaning to ask for so long, youve covered nearly everything in our solar system but the most obvious body. Our sun! I would absolutely love to hear a Parallaxnick telling of mankind's perception of the center of the universe please! At least, just file this request for some day down the road. Thanks for all you do, you rock buddy.

Your videos are so good, they are downright addictive for anyone drawn to science or history. And yet you manage to make them about both. With my much gratitude...

Dear Sir:

Excellent videos, as always, on Kepler. I've read his books, and you've ironed out a great deal of his eccentricities.

Speaking as someone who' studies and has studied both astronomy and astrology since he was a child, and still casts charts while happily staying up far too late looking through my Dobsonian telescope, Kepler's astrological writings are just as important in astrology now as his natural laws are in astronomy. His discussion about Jupiter and Venus in one's natal chart are spot on (I myself have observed this over and over again). And most of our ideas about planetary aspects are based directly on his observations and writings.

These stories must be recounted if only to keep us grounded and aware of how much better our chances now are.

Ha! I can totally imagine ol’ Joe sitting there at his desk with a little smirk on his face and “bearing quietly” while she yells and screams at him. 😂

(Probably because you called her “fat” there Joe… Lol. )

I've heard of shittier hands of cards being dealt to people, but not many that allowed someone to struggle on for so long before finally crushing them.

Love your work, my brother. FWIW, I suspect many of us here are on a similar spectrum.

"Nasty, brutish, and short."
"No, Mr. Kepler, I asked about your _wife, _ not your life."
"I know."

If it wasn't for bad luck, she'd've had no luck at all. Sympathies, Gnädige Frau.
