I saw on an earlier video you launched from somewhere in LJ not the kayak launch. Used to fish LJ on occasion (I’m in northern LA) on the kayak but haven’t been there in a while. Used to fish the kelp mostly. Never really wanted to chase the yellows all that much.

The kelp is too far a paddle from the beach launch on a board. Where can you put a board in nearer to the kelp??

U should try back of sd bay. I got over 13 halibut all over 16in in under an hour. U inspired my to buy a paddle board and i do not regret it!
