Similar plot in 1999 movie called The Love Letters. Stars Scott Campbell and Jennifer Vivian Leigh. About a man who brought an old writing desk that had power to connect with the original owner in the 1860 s during the Civil War. They became pen pals over the chasm of time. Very romantic and as each give advice on personal issues. One knows the past that will happen to one while the other is getting hints on what future society will be like. Sending a color photo was pretty funny.

I love this scene. I can’t believe I was married when this movie came out- and pretty much like Kate, I knew eventually it would end because you can’t sustain any marriage without intimate sapiosexual connection.

My ex husband didn’t like this movie. If you cannot connect with someone even while watching a movie..you’re not bonding- it’s just codependency.

The supernatural romance of this movie tells you even through time and space a true connection will never die because the universe will fight harder to achieve it.

I remember almost seeing this movie. Watching Sandra walk through the chilly Forrest with her dog barking curiously at a mailbox 📫📬 was something to watch as I watched this scene. That's a nice classic Mustang. I'm thinking a 67, or 68??? It's amazing that Neo used this same f+ING 📫 as well. Who knew the Postal System in The "Meta verse" was so small. The first Matrix was better, though. It had superior action & more tension. 🍿
