A Boeing 727 is intentionally crashed to see what happens during a crash. There were some fatalities towards the front of the aircraft with the ones having the biggest survival rate sitting towards the back.

This is probably a fraction of what happens, kinda looks like a crash landing. In most crashes of this aircraft's size, we usually see thousands of pieces on the debris field, you can hardly see a part that can easily identify it as an aircraft from far. A fire blow upon impact would have also enhanced the results to achieve replicating a real crash.

Did they load it properly? The fuesalage was practically empty and I bet the cargo hold and fuel tanks weren't full either. That makes a big difference in weight for impact and fire-hazard depending on amounts of jet fuel inside the tanks.
