It was interesting seeing how my skin did not get major breakouts like I expected🤨 Just goes to show our skin doesn’t need all those crazy skincare products. I feel like ALOT of skin care products actually worsens acne by making it inflamed or drying out your skin. Of course there are some products out there that helps you for sure. However, be careful choosing your products!!

It’s true, I stopped using any product, including face wash, just only water, for like a year now. My skin started from full of acne, to become so clear now, can’t believe it

I was watching this (on our big screen tv, as I do with YouTube, ) and my boyfriend saw you talking about your skin and said “yeah right, that girl’s never had a pimple a day in her life, look how clear her skin is”.. just thought I’d share because I’d be so flattered if I knew someone said that about me. I stumbled upon this video while trying to find posts on this exact topic.
A while ago I’ve stopped using skin care products on my face and got the same results as you did. My acne, which would flare up out of nowhere and be unbearable every week before I got my period, is suddenly gone and all I’m left with are occasional white heads.
I feel like what contributed a lot to my breakouts too was the fact that I would constantly pick the whiteheads on my face. That probably made them spread even more across my face (no matter how careful I was with it).
So, to everyone who struggles with their acne. I would recommend this method. Maybe try it out for like 2-3 weeks, that’s how fast I saw results but that can of course vary from person to person.

After years of burning money on skincare from cheap drugstore brands to the hyped up ridiculously overpriced department store ones, here is my honest opinion: it's a waste of money. Any improvement you might see is either an optical illusion / placebo effect, or a very temporary effect that goes away soon after you discontinue using the product(s) in question. I do wash my face though with a mild gel-soap as my skin is extremely oily and excessive sebum buildup feels disgusting. Moisturising is totally unnecessary, I came to the conclusion that my skin looks after itself and produces a ton of oil whether I moisturise or not and at the same rate. The only thing that actually makes my skin smooth and bright (temporarily) is a mild clay-based face mask; white clay is less stringent than green or black. I feel sorry I've wasted so much money over the years over what seems to be a huge commercial scam...probably enough to buy a new car or put a deposit on a flat/house! The excitement of trying new products and pampering yourself are nice though but definitely not worth the astronomical amounts I wasted buying cosmetic products that don't deliver. If you're desperate or have a serious problem, see a dermatologist and get yourself a prescription.

I am quitting skincare man before doing anything my face was so clear now since the day I started caring for my akin my skin has become worse I will stick to washing with only water

Not using face wash saved my skin. I only use water when washing my face, micellar water to cleanse it and water-based moisturizer and sunscreen.

okay, hear me out. i had really bad acne marks and pimples, i went to a dermatologist and they told me to just use micellar water in the morning and a light moisturizer (+ sunscreen ofc!!) and in the evening you switch up the cleanser and the micellar water
so first the cleanser then the micellar water and after a light moisture and zink creme (wound healing, anti pimples - but NOT on ur whole face, just spots). my skin is absolutely clear

Used to never wash face and had clearest skin, started using stuff and messed up my skin, currently starting today by not using any face wash and just using sunscreen in the morning and castor oil on my face in the night, I’ll update in a month :)
Edit: it’s been a week actually ! Dropped the castor oil and I still wash my face with just water…
Currently feel like giving up although I’m on my second week becquse I have lots of clogged pores and pimples . Leave advice ?
Edit: I realized that my skin was better before doing all of this, castor oil was a big no no. It had clogged my pores and left it worse !!! I currently use a face wash and sunscreen and moisturizer in morning, then in the night I use Tretinoin 0.05 percent cream and mosturizer , i got these recommended from a dermatologist. It’s going okay so far but please don’t put castor oil on your face !! (Keep your skincare simple !!)

I did this too because I was fed up. It’s been two weeks and no pimples just minor scars. I wash with cold water.

So I've noticed when I go through depression phases and forgo all skin care, I don't break out. I do have white/black heads but I believe that's particularly bc I don't even wash my face with water. I have self inflicted acne scars all over my face so I do use products to combat that and I have started going back to routine. I definitely noticed literally the day I started again I started getting small pimples along the edge/hairline of my face. While acne scar creams can break me out, it tends to be more rash/ lots of small bumps like. So I believe it the "acne prone" Neutrogena cleanser that's causing that.

Once I get this scars gone, def simply skincare routine for me. Water only, miscelluar water maybe once a week. Moisturize in the winter, but sunscreen everyday for sure. The occasional extraction & mask and I should be set. Please also keep in mind diet & stress can negatively effect your skin as well

I just stopped washing my face with soap in the morning, just water. In the evening I use my oil cleanser only as I usually wear a sunscreen only. When I wear makeup which is twice a week, I follow with a gentle low acidic cleanser. I also streamlined my routine. From 6-7 steps I now use a hydrating toner + antioxidant serum + sunscreen in the morning and oil cleanser (+ water based cleanser for makeup days)+ tretinoin + moisturizer in the evening. I noticed that keeping it simple makes my skin plump and clear

I do this since my eyes are irritated in the year 2020-2021 and my skin is getting better. What I do is I only wash my face with cold water, put some oats, and have a lot of sleep. Then, I saw this on your YT videos today and yeaahhh

Hi, I am liza from india and I am comment just sharing my routine which I follow after watching her video
In morning use normal water to wash face and oil, rice water or rose water to massage my skin gently.
In night I use milk, or alovera gel to wash my face and put some oil, rose water or rise water .
All these things are diy .
And also i am 17 and oily skin type.
If you are oily skin type and think how iuse oil in my oily skin type so I put oil in dampe face and light massage it don't harm my skin.
Also if you have fridge then icing in morning I dont so I use to steam in 2 weeks ( due to lack of time and also because of my laziness 😅 you can steam in ones in week )
Also don't touch your face and always be happy.
And also for massage or facial exercise you can check Dn beauty.
And stay hydrated, at list exercise at list 10 minute and do aerobic excercise 5 minute per day or and balance meal.
In starting i did 15 min of exercise but now 1 hr or 30 min at list 5 days in week also in periods do upper body exercise not do stomach related exercise .
All this tip make my skin body healthy and good.
