The night terrors are real. I used to watch horror movies and paranormal shows, until it started to become a part of my real life with things happening in my home and sleep paralysis. Jesus saved me ❤

Man I am telling you, beginning of January 2025, I took an oath that I would remove all social media. Facebook, instagram, and TikTok, and video games on my phone, and replace it with God’s word and teachings. And watch YouTube videos of evangelizing and sermons and worship and I dealt with so much depression, and I can hear him speaking to me. He had given me dreams and visions, and so much joy. I am telling you guys we don’t fight against fresh and blood we fight the spiritual realm. And the Lord is so just and righteous and loving and faithful! He flipped a switch in my life! And I am so grateful for what he is done in me. And so thankful for the joy he has given me. I agree all he said in here. I love having a relationship with the Lord!!

One year before God called me to sing for Him, He told me to only sing what gives Him glory. During that time I would listen to and sing both gospel and country, but when God told me this I stopped listening to country and every time I would catch myself singing a country song I would immediately stop it. After a while of doing this, one day I realized that those songs were no longer coming out of my mouth because they were no longer in my heart, because I wasn't listening to it anymore, and because I wanted to obey the Lord.... After one year of obeying God, He called me to sing for Him in church, and He anointed me! I didn't place myself on the platform. My God placed me there, and He placed His anointing upon me, and I praise Him!!! .... Only listen to and sing what gives God glory!

Destroyed my hardcover Stephen King collection collected over 35 years once I realized that he glorifies fear, horror, etc. His talent is clearly on loan from Satan. My home felt lighter immediately. Also threw out my Sopranos DVD series along with other movies I had. Not only did it kill Gandolfini, I knew it grieved God. I'm careful what I allow in my home and spirit now.

I just removed the TV from my house especially to protect my child. I taught my daughrer to dicern the hiden traps in media.

Ever since I've found my way back to Jesus, I can no longer stand watching horror movies or listen to heavy metal music. Those are things I loved but not now. It's like the Holy Spirit is protecting me by giving me that uncomfortable feeling when I come across it. I've also given up sexual sin and I'm working on cussing. I slip up sometimes but ask God to forgive me right when I say it. I wish I could get folks to stop using the Lord's name in vain. Hearing people say GD or JC in a cuss word literally makes me ill. Thank you Lord for saving me, loving me and teaching me!

I turned away from TV a couple of decades ago because I realized that every time I watched certain shows I was overcome by depression afterwards. Whom the Lord sets free is free indeed! Replaced watching TV with reading God’s word!!
