“There’s so much more to The Challenge than it being a physical game.” Absolutely! I’ve watched every season of the show going back to the first season when it was called All Star Road Rules, and while the newer seasons have been fun and very competitive, something’s missing.

Completely agree. The elite era was Kenny, bananas, Evan, wes ... that whole crew. It was sooo fun to watch. It was a perfect mix of challenge, partying, jokes, and drama. It's a reality show at the end of the day. They're too serious now and strict with the partying rules. It was a bit of fresh air when the Brits came on because they were hilarious

As someone who stopped watching before Evan and Kenny stopped competing it was weird returning to see Johnny considered the GOAT. Dude was easily the third banana amongst the three.

I would say Kam is one of the new people who has used incredibly smart next level strategies in the game to get ahead and is also a very strong physical game player as well. While I loved the old school challenges, I dont think the reason those seasons are so good is that the ogs implemented better strategy, they didn't. They were more entertaining and vets used to outnumber rookies and the rookies could never band together because they were both outnumbered and outmatched physically, but there is a reason Johnny isn't getting far anymore. He's outnumbered, and the rookies know better than to let him get far. That's it.

One thing I love about the last few seasons is that you have to win a duel in order to run the final. I hate when shitty, unathletic people get to the final and do terrible when someone who deserves to be there isn't because they get thrown in to the duel every week.

As far as the current season of The Challenge, all I have to say is CT won with a rookie. That sums it up about old school players in the seasons, they truly were cut from a different cloth(Bananas words).

I missed the old challenge when they played together on teams. It set it apart from other shows. Now, the challenge is like other reality show.
