NYC should be ashamed of themselves. The fact that they mention the homeless population and then cut to the immigrants gloating how well they’ve been treated and given access to resources is absolutely disgusting.

Slap in the face to all the homeless people, tax payers, people who work in social services. Im honestly disgusted.

Calling these trespassers “asylum seekers” is a slap to the face to any legitimate asylum seekers.

My Husband worked fifty years and payed taxes and when he needed help we couldn't get any. We appiled for food stamps when he got sick we only qualified for 10 dollars a month after all the taxes he paid in.What a slap in the face.He is gone now bless his heart, he don't have to see what a world we live in now. He is in a much better place.

Imagine how quiet and peaceful the villages these people left are right now.

What about the US citizens AND MILITARY that are homeless here? Just free rooms for these people. I have tons of compassion but it's not fair. Take care of our own first. I never understood why people would deliberately have children in poverty. It upsets me greatly.

That woman is right, they need to come the right way. This is mayhem. We need to prioritize our homeless population and struggling Americans. These immigrants have no right to be demanding such services and resources, but I blame the city and politicians for allowing this to happen in the first place. It all starts at the top.

I'm all for those who want a better life. But this getting out of hand. You can't even take care of new Yorkers who are homeless you giving these immigrants more services then our citizens

I am an immigrant here! But I came here legally! On my port of entry, I have with me the required documents such as a chest X-ray plate ; a medical certificate of good health; a National police clearance, a college diploma and a full school transcript from high school through college, passport, and a small sum of US dollars. I was also interviewed to make sure I understand, read, and write English!! How come the criminals amongst the migrants are crossing our borders without any identification and health checks??? Let’s Go Brandon; this Buds for you!!!

This is absolutely disgusting. I spent time in the city shelter system…YEARS actually, and I can guarantee that the LEAGAL New Yorkers in the shelters aren’t getting nearly what these ILLEGALS are being handed. That includes military veterans as well. This makes me want to vomit

I'm originally from NY currently living in Texas since 2006. Texas has been dealing with this "crisis" for as long as I have been here, at least. After Biden took office, everything went to hell in a handbasket. Texas has been trying to keep te borders secured which is any countries right! Every country has a process for people to seek asylum or to just move to. Hell, if I want to move to Greece, I have to jump through hoops to do it. Why shouldn't others have to do the same? My parents came to the US back in the 60s LEGALLY!!! They both came with temporary work visas. As a matter of fact, my father was denied 3 times but my mother was granted a work visa the first time she applied. She stayed here ALONE for 1 year working and PAYING taxes before my dad was finally issued a visa. People need to go through the correct process to be vetted to make sure they are not criminals, God knows we already have enough criminals already. They need to be willing to work and help contribute to the taxes that are sheltering them! So the lady with the 3-month old, I'm sure she's not going to work since she has such a young baby. Funny thing is though, when I had my son I started out living in a shelter for victims of domestic violence in the Bronx. I was treated like GARBAGE by the workers in the shelter system and had to grovel for things. I only received $70 in food stamps a MONTH with a new born who was on formula! How do you sustain yourself and a newborn on $70/mo? I'm sure these "asylum seekers" aren't getting just $70/mo. My heart goes out to you in NY still having to foot this bill. Welcome to how Texas has been feeling for the longest time and most of the country shook their fingers at Texas for wanting to keep the boarders closed and shipping them off to other cities! And one thing I would love to know is those who support these "migrants", I want to know how many of them actually opened THEIR HOMES to allow some migrants to live with them while they seek their supposed asylum?

This is so unfair to the legal residents....its crossed the line from compassionate to an overzealous need appear so. It's total insanity...Would you invite strangers off the street to stay in your home while your own family were sleeping outside? Clean these people up, dresse tgem up and fly them back to whatever not warring nation they come from.If this continues the west will become 5hat of which these people have fled.

I remember looking at this hotel online a few years ago. What a beautiful building, marble, gold chandeliers. Now it's closed as a hotel and used for this purpose.

Stop calling them Asylum seekers. If you are that scared in your country you will stop at the first safe place. How many countries have they gone through to reach the US?
