In this video, we will discuss the types of SQL commands. An SQL command is an instruction. It communicates with the database. Moreover, it is used for specific tasks, functions, and queries regarding data.

Five types of SQL commands are:

DDL: It creates, deletes, alters, and modifies table structures, etc.
DML: These commands are used to modify the database.
DCL: These commands grant and revoke authority from any database user.
DQL: It retrieves data from the database.

TCL: These commands are only applicable to DML commands like INSERT, DELETE, and UPDATE.
