You have just finished the latest Pokémon game completely; you have caught all Pokémon, beat all trainers, and, to top it off, have caught every shiny variation. With the next installment of Pokémon some time away and the DLC scheduled for later this year, you are left with all this time on your hands. So what is your next course of action, then?

You could do something else with your life, go back to an older entry or, hear me out, play a game similar to Pokémon. Still if i have to say my fav part of the universe is that one fan theory that the pokemon world in game is a after math of a global war on grand scale and man that fan theory sure works on my imagination. Nexomon 3 was anounced this week as beeing open world 3d. I highly recomend trying them out in fact everything but Monster Crown from this list. Thats due to it being built by one person however its foundation was built on inexperirnce so there is no way to fix some of its bugs so see it as part of its charm. Its music was stuck in my head for weeks and the game play was fun its just some of its crashes threw ne off ever picking it up and finish. However to look out for Monster Crown 2 which will be built from the ground up.

Also monstee santuary team is making a rouge like next in which you take 3 new monsters on each run

Cassette beast is a must if you only play one the way the battle soundtrack reacts to you blew my mf mind def one of the better pokemon clones

If you really want to play a pokemon-like game, you're probably better of to play a Pokémon fan game or rom hack. Something like Pokémon Xenoverse.
