😀 About VideoShowMeHow
-----------------------------------------------
⏩ Where did this start?
I really enjoy tinkering with different projects - they usually require a whole bunch of research and learning along the way. It's satisfying on doing a thing and standing back and going 'Yeah! Totally did that!'. I had a bunch of mates asking 'how did you know how to do that?' and 'I couldn't never do that myself so I thought; I need to start something where I can help others that might be thinking the same thing :)

⏩ What will you find here?
The purpose is simply to make these videos as top quality and helpful as I can. They will always be free, there's ZERO agenda and the only motive is to try and upload what I would want to watch to help with that particular project. I'm also keen to keep building this little community and will try to answer all questions when asked - fire away :)

⏩ What's with the gloves?
Not after any YouTube fame here which is why I'm not in the vids - they're not about me they're about the how-to! I used the gloves for the first couple of projects I filmed which just happened to be messy ones and it kinda just became a thing. Plus adds a little more personality I guess :)

New videos are being uploaded regularly so if there's something you'd like to see, have Questions and/or Comments drop me a line.

Cheers guys.

Thanks for all the information you are providing on the D'max, I want to fit 265/70/18 tyres with stock suspension and factory 18" rims. I think they will fit without any rubbing because 265/70/18 diameter is 828 mm and also 285/65/18 diameter is 828 mm. What is your opinion on that?

When will the lift video be ready?
Thanks in advance.

You can also fit a 265/70/17 aka 31's as I've got them on my BT50. No lift and no scrubbing, +12 offset but I did have to get flares as they were about 8-10mm out of the wheel arches

Hey Adam

I’ve just been told that 285.65.18 are Not legal on a standard rim ! Your insurance will be void! Because it’s over size for that rim . I’m a fan of your content and all what your doing mate. But I’d check on this?
Thanks
Rick

Love your channel Adam!
I installed the tail gate assist and bought the same dash cam because of your videos.👌🏻

Question with the size of tyres, I’m thinking of running similar to this video but slightly smaller 285x60x18 on 20x9 x 20 of set on standard suspension.

Do You think they will work, the place I’m wanting to buy the the wheels from think I’m mad? 🤔 haha

That's really handy to know thanks I've been trying to work out if I want 265 or 285 and the scrub was one major issue cheers 🍻

Hi Adam, do you happen to remember what offset was the stock wheel? The 2023 Dmax xterrain comes with ET33 offset wheel. Is it the same?

Hi mate,

You might have already answered this question, I’m new to your channel but I’ll ask anyway.

I have a new 2023 x terrain and I got told today that I would need to put a bull bar on (so it removes the front guard) to fit 33s on there. I see you have 33s but was wondering did you need to remove the front to do so?
It looks like you don’t have a bull bar yet but just wanted to be sure.

Thanks and loving the videos, just watched the lift kit one it was great 👍

Hi Adam. Are 285/65/18 definitely legal size for Xterrain? The calcs come
In slightly over 50% larger than original.
Forgive me if I’m barking up wrong tree cos I like them alot.

I haven’t really seen anyone go that combo before on these or the bt50. What was the reason for keeping 18s and going a lower profile 65?

Any performance impact. And what fuel economy do you get with 285 vs 265

Hey man, is that a scrub mark on the front of the sway bar wear it’s worn the black off? That’s where they normally scrub

How do you rate the drivability over the standard size I’m thinking about going 265/70/17 just to keep fuel consumption and drivability good would love to hear otherwise

I saw people fitting 35 with 0 offset. Do you they needed to do some trimming
