The funniest thing, out of all of this story, this encounter and everything is that all his bravado or acting, whether as Shadow, John Smith or everything that will come is actually working, it's just that he himself doesn't know it. He's basically "King" from Saitama but actually has the skills and powers to back it up lmao

The manga version has more detail but that's just a given. Honestly, I liked what they did with the animation. It shows that Alpha can easily recognize Shadow through combat alone even if he is disguised. It shows why she's the Alpha; someone who can wound Shadow.

I do like the animation for this fight. However I liked how he settled it in the Manga more. He pulls out his Sword and the swing is enough to blow her away and then he knocked her out after telling her she has gotten stronger or something. Oh and they were in the middle of town not on a train.
