Hey thanks for a super comprehensive review. I just last week purchased the Sport model which I haven’t been out on yet, but I can see obviously from your review the differences. But the Pro is also €200 more than the Sport, so one would expect things to be better. I guess just depends on what one can afford, and for me €600 was already quite a chunk of money for a kick e scooter. I recently moved to the Nederlands from Australia, where I’d thought about buying one there. Having purchased it here I had no idea that they are illegal in the Nederlands (hopefully not much longer!!) so I’m just going to take my chances. I’m not as young as you, in my 50s but I love electric transport vehicles and gadgets. Thanks again mate.

there is a software update to the app to allow curse control. once enabled, when you maintain a speed for 5 or 6 seconds, the scooter will beep, and then you are in cruse control. to turn off cruse control touch either break, or press throttle after releasing it.

Your “stuck throttle” bug isn’t a bug at all. It’s cruise control. The scooter has it. Hold down accelerated for ten seconds and it kicks in. Tap breaks to disable.

I wanted to buy this scooter as my second scooter, when my first breaks up :)
In demensions, deck with, deck lenght, handlebar, whole geometry it is identical to Ninebot max G30, with differences +-5mm. Angle of handlebars is identical. Wheights is also identical. Battery almost equal, eaven a battery cap with a spring is identical to G30. Adjustable lights are better than on G30. Hidden cables in stem are nicer. But otherwise it is almost identical. In my opinion they shoud have do something special with it. Ninebot Max is a scooter from 2019, and this NIU is somewhat polished, but will arrive at the begining of 2022. 3 years and almost no difference.

Ok, so I got mine last week. I can say that the throttle does stick at very LOW speeds every once in a while. Also, I weigh 105kgs and the scooter has NO problems going up hills steeper than that shown in your video, so probably the production version is better than the ones you got.

10:11 Xiaomi addressed that issue on their 2020 models by adding a rear fender Support. 😉

Hey nice reviiew! I have a question please. In the custom mode(app), are you able to set the speed to 32 km/h? or is the max speed in the custom mode(app) also 25 km/h? Thank you.

What do you mean it only has seven battery cycles and can only 200-300 KM of use? like will it not work after you charge it 10 times?

The deck length on a TIER sucks, it is to short. The ninebox max g30 is comfortable, I'd the say at least the minimum required. Also the ninebot has a 550wh battery and the niu only has a 450wh, it should have been at least removable and larger.

It is a nice looking scooter indeed! What no one seems to want to mention is that the deck and bottom of this scooter are plastic and can crack much easier than the aluminum deck and tub from competitors.
