This episode is such a great example on how to subvert expectations. The audience (and Josuke) is used to any stand user other than companions or main characters being evil. Araki even goes out of his way to put a dog in this episode, which we know are basically Chekhov’s Gun for him. We keep switching between Josuke’s blown up view of the situation and the reality of situation. Really keeps you on your toes. It also shows us that not all stand users are evil, and not all stands are combative. It he restaurant adds another unique aspect to Morioh. This honestly might be my favorite episode of part 4.

I find it so hilarious that Tonio sounds and appears super shady and his stand attack is pretty suspicious but what he is really doing is improving the general well-being of the people who eat his food. It's so well played.

I loved this episode. It was a nice break from the usual bloodlust, and a good way to show that there are Stand users that have non-combat type Stands.

Out of all the stands, tonio pearl jam is just the most unorthodox in the series.
I mean anything you eat from his food is not only absolutely delicious, but it violently destroys all the negative effects in and on your body and heals you in a instant to a brand new form. The fact it has the ability to even cure diseases makes you wonder just how much and how many he can save if he became a nutritionist professional physician.

I like how Josuke went through the trouble of collecting all of the dead skin with his hands and shaping it into a ball in order to tell Okuyasu that he’s scratching too much

Jojo is just hilarious. This episode makes you think that Tonio is a bad guy with the typical glarings and shady quotes, but then his stand just wants to cure your bad health

A stand user that acts so obviously evil, yet has been nothing but beneficial to the main characters.
