This is essentially a rebranded "Kings and Heroes", it was abandon before, so maybe they actually finish this time with smaller scope.

Just looked up to verify.. this is Kings and Heroes scaled down.. they (the developers) said Kings and Heroes was too big/ expensive in scope.. so they killed early access.. and made this 4 years later. Looks good.. but def gonna wait and see with this one. edit: They gave everyone who had Kings and Hero's a free copy of this game. So... that's very cool of them

Being a person whos played mostly mmos the past 20 something years I'm perfectly fine with chatbox spam for loot lol. Seeing a boss die and watching the loot scroll and your eyes trying to see that one piece you want and if you spot it then its hypeee if you dont then its heartbreak. Same effect.

Just bought it for 20 bucks on PSN Store, it certainly has some interesting mechanics and im always happy to support indie Studios. It might be a good investment into the Future bcz who knows what some Devs could pull off with more Funds.
AAA has turned into an Insult over the last Years, at least thats my personal opinion.

One of my huge pet peeves in these types of games is when you kill an enemy wielding 2 daggers (or whatever), which they drop on the floor when you kill them, but those are not part of the loot you get from the enemy. I always think to myself 'they are right there! just pick them up!'

The game does have online co op through the Steam "remote play together service" which lets you play local co op over steam servers, and only the host has to own the game. Used that feature with Archvale and it works really well.
