Gentlemen, in this video, I will be talking about & reviewing a classic fougère fragrance from Guy Laroche "Drakkar Noir".

Guy Laroche "Drakkar Noir".
This is a masculine-leaning, old-school, aromatic fougère fragrance that at the top starts off with being fresh, zingy, citrusy and a little green but whenever this gets to develop, it becomes more of a buttery, creamy shaving foam-type of fragrance and whenever this gets to dry, it just becomes a clean, musky fresh scent.
This is very simple, yet still very wearable, especially if you like fougère fragrances that really are inoffensive but still have this slightly masculine leaning, simple edge to them.
On my skin, this last 10-12 hours with very mild projection that fairly quickly becomes a skin scent.
I think till' this day, "Drakkar Noir" is still a very wearable fragrance and still a fragrance that I can recommend to you guys, if you want something masculine-leaning and that is throwback to old-school perfumery and I have given "Drakkar Noir" a 7/10 MENS IMPROVEMENT Rating.

I love fougeres, and I just got the drakkar noir, but I wouldnt say it's inoffensive to everybody at least. Some people think it smells like these yellow stones in the pissoir, these toilett stones.. And also I would say it's not a little masculine leaning but the prototype of what masculinity in means in the world of perfume...

I started wearing DN in 1986. It has changed somewhat since then, but the modern version is very good. I'm surprised you get 12 hours performance. I get 6 hours tops.

I have worn Drakkar Noir since 1992. The smell remained the same since it came out in 1982. But today it has been ruined, like all other classic fragrances. You young people have no idea how much you're missing out on. Quality today is dog shit.
