Hi there can I stick insulation board to wall and then fix plaster board to that after that

Just done much the same in my kitchen and living room due to having 3 outside walls and them colder than the rest of the house. Why didn't you consider your 30+ mm insulation and chamfer down at the window and door? I'm sure it would have been good.

How did you fix to the walls, please? Same fixings as the ceiling, masonry fixings or dot n dab?

Great video buddy! Would you guys be willing to work over in Worcester? I’ve got an extension that was built in 2016 and insulated in the cavity yet the extension is absolutely freezing. Had rising snap issues where the DPC has failed but have got that fixed. Just don’t know why it’s so cold in there

In this case, did you dot and dab over existing walls plaster or did you strip down

interesting, but why not clear the plaster back to brick, add treated battens, with DPC, add PIR in-between and then an additional PIR board on top? Ecotherm do a 25mm board I believe? (Unless its down to cost of course - but if so, what would a typical cost be in comparison?

What does the plasterboard fix to ? Straight onto the insulation, will it take the Weight of plasterboard.

Is it worth taping the joints between the insulation boards and edges?
Would this provide a moisture type seal to prevent moisture travelling from the warm moist room and settling on the cold walls behind insulation?

I'm curious to learn because it's so hard to know whether to insulate the inside, the outside, moisture, mould, etc.

I like what you're doing. It will make a big difference to heating bills.
