I watched an old Unsolved Mysteries episode last night on Amazon Prime called Diabolical Minds. It is about psychopaths, and presented Adolf Hitler, Saddam Hussein, assorted other murderers, politicians, and Wall Street power players as examples. I have always thought Trump was a flaming narcissist, but I hadn't really thought about him being a psychopath or sociopath until last night. The program described him perfectly: no remorse, no empathy, likes you as long as you are useful to him, then turns on you, plays by his own set of rules, has no regard for the norms of society, etc. There have been developments in the language of mental health since that program came out in the early 1990s, but the gist of it is still true.
