I love gold finches! They swarm my feeders (Nyjer seed) every morning! Their bright yellow and black detailing is cheery! I watch them for hours and I feel less stressed! :)

This afternoon I saw both a male and female Goldfinch clinging to the side of my neighbor's brick house! They seemed to be pecking at the brick. So glad these beautiful birds are back in our neighborhood! :)

As the ad was playing I heard this exact chirp right outside my window! I was shocked when the video started to play and it was the same little chirp. Upstate NY is bountiful with birds in the summertime :)

Saw a male goldfinch a few days ago in my backyard by a small koi pond. It was the closest I've been, about 12 feet away, and got a good look at him. He didn't sing while he was in the yard but I had heard the same song being sung earlier that morning so now I know what it means.

Although it was a nice chirp, I had much more elaborate Goldfinches on the tree next to our house in BC, Canada. Those sung beautifully!
